Nicole Ortega has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for more than a decade and for the past seven years, she has operated her own mobile hygiene practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice. She is fiercely passionate about dentistry and sees it as a vital part of healthcare, which has been her driving motivation for expanding further into this field.
Nicole built her mobile hygiene practice from the ground up and published a book to help dental professionals do the same and find more autonomy in their careers. Supporting others in their educational and professional trajectories has always come naturally to Nicole, which led her to publish her e-books, Starting Simple (first and second editions), where she offers a detailed guide to building an independent mobile hygiene practice. She has also authored Tickle My Teeth, the first children’s electric toothbrushing book.
